The Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that in June 2025, 67.8 billion hryvnias in pensions were paid. Of these, 9.3 billion hryvnias were received through 'Ukrposhta', and 56.0 billion hryvnias were through banks. Additionally, funds were allocated for social needs such as housing subsidies and insurance payments.
It is also known that from July 1, 2025, the Pension Fund obtained expanded powers, which include the payment of state social assistance to individuals without pensions, disabled persons, children with disabilities, and other categories of citizens. An online application process is also planned to simplify the procedure for receiving social assistance.
