Not TCC: The Armed Forces responded who can determine suitability for service.
The Communications Department of the Ground Forces Command clarified that military personnel of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers do not have the authority to independently determine the suitability of citizens for military service.
'Suitability for military service is determined exclusively by a military medical commission. No military personnel of the TCC and SP has the right to declare a person fit or unfit for service' - emphasized in the command document.
All cases of mobilization of individuals who are not suitable for service will be verified to take appropriate measures and bring the guilty to justice.
Checks of military medical commissions
The leadership of the Ground Forces addressed the command of the Medical Forces of Ukraine with a request to conduct inspections of the non-stationary military medical commissions at the TCC and SP to ensure compliance with legal requirements during medical examinations of citizens.
The powers of military personnel of the TCC and SP regarding summoning to the army are clearly defined and involve mandatory medical examinations of citizens by military medical commissions. The emphasis is placed on preventing self-determination of suitability for service by military personnel. There is also a provision for checking military medical commissions to ensure compliance with legal requirements during medical examinations of citizens.
Clarifications from the communications department regarding the powers of military commissions and preventive measures in case of mobilization of citizens unfit for service make the rules for participation in military registration clearer and more transparent for the public.
