The rescue operation continues in Zaporizhzhia after the missile strike
As of the evening of December 10, the rescue operation continues in Zaporizhzhia following the missile strike by Russia. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, three people have died and at least 14 have been injured.
The president reported that an office building, a medical center, and regular urban development were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia as a result of the shelling. People may be trapped under the rubble, and all services are involved in rescue efforts.
Zelensky emphasized that the issue of providing Ukraine with additional air defense capabilities depends on political decisions from the USA, Europe, and other global partners.
'This is a decision of the American administration, leaders of Europe, and other partners in the world. These decisions can save thousands of lives and negate the meaning of Russian terror,' the president stressed.
Previous shellings of Zaporizhzhia
It was previously reported that on December 6, Russia carried out an airstrike on Zaporizhzhia. Rescue operations after this strike were completed at 11:30 PM. The number of injured reached 24 people, including three children. Ten people were killed, eight of whom were in cars. Later, it became known that as a result of the missile strike on Zaporizhzhia on December 6, 26 people were injured, and 10 civilians were killed, including two schoolgirls - Lysenko Kateryna and Syrovatko Tetiana.
