According to Novyny.live: On April 2, the Odesa region came under a drone assault that caused significant damage to port infrastructure and residential buildings. The attack triggered a large-scale fire within the port area, affecting storage yards, hangars, and administrative and utility structures. Despite the severity of the destruction, no casualties were reported.
Civilian Areas Hit
In the city of Chornomorsk, the assault damaged civilian infrastructure and multiple apartment blocks. According to Vasyl Huliaiev,

During the incident, a balcony and a gas pipe on the first floor of a nine-story building caught fire, but the blaze was quickly extinguished.

The air raid alert was issued at approximately 02:51 and was lifted at 04:07. To manage the aftermath, 85 emergency responders and 21 pieces of equipment were deployed. Their coordinated efforts allowed for a rapid response to the fires, helping to contain the damage.
Details on the Attack
Beyond the immediate destruction, it was reported that a 76-year-old man who had been wounded during a previous attack on March 28 died in the hospital. Among the 14 injured individuals still under medical supervision is a 9-year-old boy. Authorities and emergency services continue to manage the situation and work on mitigating the consequences of the strike.
