Overnight Strikes on Dnipropetrovsk Region: One Dead, Sixteen Wounded.
Attacks Across Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
According to Novyny.live: In the night leading up to June 11, Russian forces launched strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuries to sixteen others. The affected areas included residential neighborhoods, infrastructure, and industrial sites in Pavlohrad, Nikopol, Synelnykove District, and Kryvyi Rih District.
Aftermath of the Assaults
In Pavlohrad, a multi-story apartment building was damaged, leaving twelve local residents in need of medical care. In Synelnykove District, one person was killed and three others sustained injuries. The attacks destroyed:
- a local shop building;
- two private homes;
- an agricultural firm;
- various outbuildings.
In the Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih District, one individual was injured, while Nikopol and its surrounding communities reported extensive damage to infrastructure facilities.
These events follow a previous wave of violence on June 8 in Nikopol and the Pavlohrad area, which killed one person and injured five others. Just a day earlier, on June 10, a new large-scale drone attack had begun. These strikes highlight the escalating danger in the region and the urgent need for continued attention to the conflict's impact.
The increasing frequency of shelling in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast underscores the ongoing war in Ukraine and its toll on civilians. Attacks on residential areas and critical infrastructure endanger innocent lives, raising international concern over the humanitarian crisis in the area. It is essential that humanitarian organizations have the capacity to respond to the needs of those affected and provide necessary support.
