Night mass attack on the Russian Federation: where the drones struck.

On the night of January 14, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Defense Forces carried out strikes on chemical plants, an oil refinery, and warehouses at the airport in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation. This information was provided by sources at the SBU.

According to the information obtained, the joint operation of the SBU and the Defense Forces resulted in damage to the following facilities:

• the chemical plant in Aleksin (Tula region). After the use of SBU drones, a large fire occurred;
• ammunition warehouses (FAB, KAB, cruise missiles) at the Engels airport in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation. SBU drones reached their targets, and the fire is ongoing;
• the oil refinery in Saratov. A large-scale fire broke out on the premises.
• the chemical plant in Bryansk. There were significant explosions due to direct missile strikes and fires.

A representative of the Defense Forces noted: 'The SBU, together with the Defense Forces, continues to work on striking enemy military facilities and enterprises operating in the Russian military-industrial complex. Each damaged ammunition warehouse, oil refinery, oil depot or chemical plant is a serious blow to the RF's ability to wage war against Ukraine.'

It is recalled that previously, units of the Security Service of Ukraine, which utilize unmanned systems, jointly with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a precise strike on the Bryansk chemical plant in the city of Seltso on January 13. It is noted that this plant is a strategic object of the military-industrial complex of the RF.

In addition, on the night of January 14, the Defense Forces of Ukraine again struck the infrastructure of the Russian military airport 'Engels-2', where the 22nd heavy bomber aviation division with Tu-95MS and Tu-160 aircraft is based.

Also, on the night of January 14, drones attacked the chemical plant 'Orgsintez' in the Russian city of Kazan. This led to an outbreak of fire in the tanks.
