Nottingham Forest loses at home: sixth match without a win for Postecoglou.
Unsuccessful game for Nottingham Forest against Midtjylland
According to The Sun: In the match at the home stadium City Ground, Nottingham Forest fans supported their team with the chant 'You will be freed in the morning' as the team suffered a defeat to the Danish club Midtjylland with a score of 3:2.
After the third conceded goal, fans started calling for the return of former coach Nuno Espírito Santo.
ReutersCoach Forest, Ange Postecoglou, is still waiting for his first victory after six matches.
The team could not cope with the attacks of Midtjylland, who took advantage of set pieces, even though Forest was considered the clear favorite in this match.
Two goals from Usman Diakite and Mads Bøgh within six minutes gave Midtjylland the advantage, despite Dan N'Doy scoring one goal for Forest.
The situation worsened when two minutes before the end of the match Waldemar Andreasson scored a third goal for the guests. Only a penalty from Chris Wood allowed Forest to reduce the deficit, but it did not save the team from defeat.
Before the start of the match, the atmosphere in the stadium was uplifting, as Nottingham Forest hosted a European match at home for the first time in three decades. Fans unfurled a large banner reading: 'For the new generation, our time has come.'
Match Details
Forest desperately tried to equalize in the second half. Although Chris Wood had two goals disallowed for offside, he still managed to score a second goal for his team.
Midtjylland, who won their first match against Sturm Graz last week, showed a confident performance. The first goal was scored from a set piece: a free kick from Arel Samsir, then Bøgh redirected the ball to Diakite, who scored.
Forest responded to the goal when Morgan-Gibbs White crossed to N'Doy, and he equalized with a close-range shot.

However, Midtjylland quickly regained the lead after a second goal scored by Bah after two deflections.
The match ended in disappointment for Forest, and club owner Evangelos Marinakis reacted with discontent in the stands. There are still many matches ahead, and the team hopes for improvement in the upcoming games.
