Nova Poshta Now Offers Shopping Mall Purchases Storage in Parcel Lockers: Pricing and Details.
Nova Poshta Launches New Service
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian logistics leader Nova Poshta has introduced a new service for shopping mall customers, allowing them to store purchases in its automated parcel lockers. This is a practical solution for shoppers who cannot take their items home immediately after buying them, a common challenge in busy urban centers.
Storage Terms and Pricing
The service costs 30 UAH. Clients can store their items for the following durations:
- 5 days in parcel lockers;
- 7 days at Nova Poshta branches;
- 7 days at partner pickup points.
It is important to note that items stored in a parcel locker must not exceed a weight of 20 kg. There are also size restrictions for the items:
- length – up to 40 cm;
- height – up to 60 cm;
- width – up to 30 cm.
After the storage period ends, redirecting the items incurs a separate fee. To use the new service, customers must create a shipment in the Nova Poshta mobile app, place their purchases in an available locker compartment, and close it.
This initiative aligns with the needs of modern consumers, offering them greater flexibility in how they receive their goods. It is worth noting that changes to the delivery tariff model of the postal-logistics operator Meest Poshta took effect on March 1.
The introduction of this service demonstrates Nova Poshta's adaptation to new realities in the consumer market, where convenience and speed of service are becoming key factors for buyers.
This initiative could significantly simplify the process of receiving goods for clients with limited time for shopping. The recent tariff changes at competitor Meest Poshta may also influence the competitive landscape of Ukraine's logistics services market.
