SpaceX successfully launched the Falcon 9 rocket into low Earth orbit, carrying 27 satellites of the Starlink system. According to SpaceX, the launch took place from launch complex SLC-4E in California at 15:32 local time, or 22:32 Kyiv time.

This time, 27 newer and more powerful Starlink v2 Mini satellites were deployed into orbit, which can serve more users and provide higher internet speeds. After the launch, the Falcon 9 rocket successfully landed on a floating platform in the Pacific Ocean, marking the 450th successful landing for this rocket.

Currently, there are over 7,000 active Starlink satellites from SpaceX in space. It is also worth noting that Amazon has begun deploying its own broadband internet network, Kuiper, having launched the first 27 satellites that will compete with SpaceX's Starlink. The Kuiper project involves launching 3,236 satellites to provide broadband internet globally at a cost of $10 billion.
