The government introduces winter assistance: 6500 hryvnias for low-income families.
New support for low-income families in winter
According to inkorr.com: The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Denys Uliutin, announced the development of a new support program for low-income families during the winter period. He plans to present this initiative to the Cabinet of Ministers soon.
'We plan to propose 6500 hryvnias for families with low-income individuals. This is winter support. Funds are available for this and as soon as the decision is voted on by the Cabinet of Ministers, we will immediately start the implementation of this act,' said Uliutin.
Thus, the government is trying to implement measures that will ease the life of the most vulnerable segments of the population during the cold season.
This initiative is an important step in ensuring social protection for those who are most in need of help. During the winter period, when expenses for heating and other utility services significantly increase, such support can greatly alleviate the financial burden on low-income families. Time will tell how quickly and effectively this program will be implemented.
