The Case of Stanislav Luchanov
According to Espreso.tv: Stanislav Luchanov, a military serviceman, is suspected of kidnapping and murdering two brothers from the village of Kalynivka in the Rokytne community. He has pleaded not guilty, stating:
“I do not admit my guilt.”The prosecutor in the case is requesting a 60-day pretrial detention as a preventive measure.
Incident Details
On the night of June 27, the perpetrators unlawfully entered the property of the Moseichuk brothers. During the incident, a serviceman named Zaiats fired two shots into the leg of Roman Mosiichuk. The brothers were tied up, blindfolded, placed into vehicles, and taken to a military unit near Poltava. They were held illegally until July 1.
Stanislav Luchanov, who involved the battalion commander of military unit A5001, Dovhalenko, in the murder of the brothers, took command of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anna of Kyiv in February 2026. Previously, he served as the chief of staff of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment 'Skelya.' On July 13, the former brigade commander was detained in Kyiv. The investigation is ongoing.
