According to Novyny.live: A new educational module titled 'Cyber Hygiene 2.0' is now available on the 'Army+' application, designed to teach Ukrainian military personnel fundamental cybersecurity rules. The course was announced on January 19. This initiative, developed in collaboration with the Main Directorate of Communications and Cybersecurity of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, aims to enhance soldiers' awareness of how to defend against cyberattacks. This training is part of a broader effort to bolster Ukraine's digital defenses during the ongoing conflict.

What the 'Cyber Hygiene 2.0' Course Covers

The 'Cyber Hygiene 2.0' course consists of 14 instructional series covering various aspects of cybersecurity. It is one of 19 total training courses available on the 'Army+' app, which allows service members to acquire the knowledge and skills needed for their duties. Currently, 213,000 Ukrainian defenders are engaged in learning through the platform, highlighting the critical role of such digital education in modern warfare.

Upon completing the course and passing its tests, military personnel will not only master the basics of cyber hygiene but also receive a certificate. This process is intended to improve the troops' readiness for potential threats in the digital domain.

Raising cybersecurity awareness will benefit not only individual soldiers but is also expected to have a positive impact on the overall security of the state. Education in this field is critically important for ensuring an effective national defense and protecting the country's information systems.
