Daria Doroshkevych reveals the secret: salad with fried cucumbers.
According to ТСН: Cucumber is an important component of vegetable salads and is used both fresh and in pickled or canned form. Daria Doroshkevych, a quick and delicious food expert and ambassador of Jamie Oliver's project in Ukraine, offers an unusual recipe for salad with fried cucumbers.
Ingredients:
lettuce leaves — 100 g
canned tuna in water — 50 g
young garlic — 1 piece
vegetable oil — 2 tbsp
bell pepper — ½ piece
fresh cucumber — 1 piece
sesame — 2 tbsp
soy sauce — 2 tbsp
For the dressing:
soy sauce — 2 tbsp
brown sugar — 1 tsp (can be replaced with honey)
apple cider vinegar — 1 tbsp
Cooking method:
In a skillet, pour in the oil and add finely chopped young garlic and bell pepper, sauté them until soft. Then add sesame and sauté for another minute. Next, add the sliced cucumbers to the skillet and fry until the sesame changes color, then pour in the soy sauce.
Sauté all ingredients for another two minutes, then turn off the heat and let cool.
While everything is cooling, prepare the dressing. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
The final stage is assembling the salad. On a plate, lay fresh lettuce leaves, drizzle with the dressing, and mix. Then add the chopped canned tuna, mix again, and top with the vegetables. Mix everything one more time and serve it on the table.
This salad is not only a delicious dish but also an original way to prepare cucumbers that will add new flavor notes to the food. The inclusion of fried vegetables creates a contrast of textures and hues, transforming an ordinary salad into a true culinary discovery.
