Exchange will not be possible: the National Bank explained which 100 dollars are not accepted in Ukraine.
Ukrainians were told which 100 dollars are not accepted by banks and exchange offices.
The National Bank of Ukraine reported that there are restrictions and nuances in currency exchange. To avoid unpleasant surprises during money exchange, it is important to know all the details of working with foreign currency. Special attention is paid to 100 dollar banknotes, as they have been issued several times. Therefore, many Ukrainians are curious about which specific 100 dollars can be exchanged and which cannot.
According to the National Bank, all dollars issued since 1914 are valid, including 100 dollar banknotes. The year of issuance and changing design do not matter.
However, banks may refuse operations with certain dollars. In particular, such bills will not be accepted:
- Very worn or damaged banknotes. It should be noted that the National Bank of Ukraine has excluded the concept of 'slightly worn foreign currency banknotes'.
- Counterfeit dollars.
It is worth mentioning that PrivatBank has canceled banking service fees for IT entrepreneurs.
