Defense and Industrial Innovations: Scientists Received State Orders.

The government approved the list of scientific and technical developments for 2025-2026

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved for the first Time a list of 22 scientific and technical developments within the framework of state orders for 2025-2026, reported Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, stated that the approved list of scientific and technical developments for 2025-2026 signifies a new level of integration of science into the economy. Until now, scientific developments had been merely theoretical articles, but now they are becoming concrete technologies for various sectors such as defense, medicine, ecology, and industry.

Among the scientific developments that have received attention are enhancing national security, energy development, agricultural production, medical technologies, rehabilitation medicine, and the development of digitalization and artificial intelligence, - said Fedorov.

According to Fedorov, scientists will be given two years and a budget of over 186 million UAH for the implementation of these scientific and technical developments. The developments must be ready for practical application to strengthen defense and develop the economy.

'The most valuable asset of Ukraine is its people, so it is very important that more scientists and research teams unleash their potential and work for the benefit of security, economy, and society. We are creating all necessary conditions for this together with the Ministry of Education and the Government,' Fedorov emphasized.
