Russian Shelling Hits Kherson and Multiple Ukrainian Cities

According to UATV: At 4:30 a.m. on July 28, a Russian attack in Kherson killed one person and wounded another when a drone struck a minibus. Over the same 24-hour period, Russian strikes across the country caused three deaths and ten injuries. These assaults were not limited to Kherson; they also occurred in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv. The security situation in the region remains tense, reflecting the ongoing threat to civilians in Ukrainian front-line cities.

Impact on Civilians: Strikes Across Multiple Cities

In Zaporizhzhia, a balcony on the seventh floor caught fire due to the attack. Over the preceding 24 hours, 14 people were harmed in the city, including three children. According to reports, Russian forces carried out 1,107 strikes on 49 localities across the Zaporizhzhia region, underscoring the large scale of the assault.

In Sumy, six people—including three children—were wounded as a result of shelling. In Kharkiv, one person was killed and 14 others sustained injuries during the attacks. These events illustrate the continued Russian military aggression in Ukraine, leading to numerous civilian casualties.
