According to UATV: In July 2023, the Russian military struck Pavlohrad, a city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, on two separate occasions. The assaults left five people dead and dozens wounded—all civilians, including children. On July 20, the city experienced its first aerial bomb attack since the start of the full-scale invasion. That incident claimed two lives and injured 15, among them a one-year-old and a 13-year-old girl. Tetiana, a factory packer, was wounded in that attack. She recalled:

'The girls said: "Let's run to the shelter"'

Details of the Attacks

The second attack occurred on July 23, killing three women and injuring 30 people, including a two-year-old girl. More than ten of the wounded were hospitalized in Dnipro, three of whom remain in intensive care. Tetiana also described her injuries:

'They pulled a fragment about 5 cm from my shoulder, and one slightly smaller from my head'

Later, on July 27, over 20 strikes using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs hit four districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. These attacks highlight the escalating threat to civilians in the region. The repeated targeting of Pavlohrad and surrounding areas underscores the severe humanitarian consequences of the war, drawing concern from the international community about the safety of non-combatants and the need for aid and protection.
