Attacks in the Kherson Region
According to UATV: On June 7, a series of Russian attacks left five civilians wounded in Ukraine's southern Kherson region. According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the casualties were recorded as of 5:30 PM, all stemming from the ongoing Russian aggression.
The assaults, which lasted throughout the day, targeted the villages of Nykolske and Stepne, as well as the city of Kherson itself. Both private residences and apartment buildings sustained damage, along with at least one passenger vehicle. The attacks employed a range of weaponry, including:
- artillery
- mortars
- unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
Ukrainian forces reported a total of 236 attack UAVs launched by Russian forces. Among the drone types used were:
- Shahed
- Gerbera
- Italmas
- decoy drones known as 'Parody'
This latest wave of violence underscores the escalating conflict in the region and its devastating impact on civilians. Such attacks are a grim reminder of the war's toll on ordinary people.
