Shooting down the drone

Last night, Odessa border guards showcased their skills in destroying an enemy drone over the Mykolaiv region. An enemy UAV was shot down from the sky with a heavy machine gun.

The video of the drone being shot down was published by the Southern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

During the attack by Russian troops at night, border guards timely detected an enemy drone of the 'Shahed-136/131' type. As a result of an accurate shot from the machine gun, it fell into a field and exploded, causing no damage.

'Thanks to clear cooperation, effective response to aerial threats, and accurate fire from our defenders, the kamikaze drone was destroyed in the air. The enemy 'Shahed' shattered into pieces as it descended to the ground,' the border guards state.

It is also worth noting that last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 309 strike drones and 8 cruise missiles. Earlier, we reported how artificial intelligence will assist in shooting down drones over the Mykolaiv region, as well as the dangers of UAVs even after their destruction.

Summary: Ukrainian border guards demonstrated their effectiveness in combating enemy drones by shooting down an enemy UAV of the 'Shahed-136/131' type over the Mykolaiv region. This confirms the importance of using modern technologies to protect military facilities from aerial threats.
