Ukrenergo announced the power outage schedule due to the consequences of the missile attack

For November 27, Ukrenergo reported a power outage schedule in connection with the consequences of the missile attack. According to the company's statement, the restrictions are planned from 7:00 to 20:00. The outages will be conducted in one queue.

The reason for the restrictions is damage to the energy infrastructure

The restrictions are implemented due to damage to the energy infrastructure that occurred as a result of the missile and drone attack on November 17. Currently, energy workers are actively working on restoring the damaged equipment.

Electricity consumption is rising due to frosty weather

The increase in electricity consumption complicates the situation in the energy system. As of 6:00 on November 26, the consumption level over the day exceeded the figures of the previous day by 5% due to frosty weather in most regions. The maximum consumption on November 25 was 9.4% higher than on November 22.

Power outages in several regions

Currently, electricity supply is absent in 38 settlements due to bad weather: 35 in Chernihiv region and 3 in Sumy region. After the overnight drone attack, emergency outages were also introduced in Ternopil region.

Electricity import for system balancing

An electricity import is currently being carried out from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 7,197 MWh and a maximum capacity of up to 684 MW for balancing the energy system.

Recommendations from Ukrenergo

Ukrenergo urges not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances simultaneously during the restoration of electricity according to the schedule. It is also recommended to monitor the current information about outages on the official resources of the regional energy companies.
