“From radio interception, it is known that even before the start of the attack, the commander of the Russian Federation ordered to destroy the civilian population and act ruthlessly. The Russian military unit killed the girl's parents and abducted her, holding her hostage. The girl was then used as a human shield to avoid negative consequences from Ukrainian forces. This act was reflected live by units of the Third Army Corps. All this speaks of the brutality and planning of the enemy's actions.”
Russian troops in the Kramatorsk direction
Russian troops are trying to encircle the Kostiantynivka-Sloviansk agglomeration to cut off the logistics routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and complicate the defense of the cities of Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk.
In Kupiansk, the situation remains complicated: Russian troops continue to shell the city and conduct reconnaissance-diversion operations, reported local commander Andriy Besedin.
In Donbas, the Russian army commits brutal war crimes, using the civilian population, including children, as human shields. Such actions ignore the fundamentals of international humanitarian law and reflect the ruthlessness of the enemy in achieving their goals.
The use of civilians as human shields is a gross violation of international law and raises tremendous concern in both domestic and international communities. This underscores the seriousness of the situation at the front and the necessity of taking measures to protect innocent lives in the conditions of war.
