Russian invaders attacked Ukraine on the night of February 22
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian invaders attacked Ukraine using 162 Shahed drones and various types of decoy drones. The attack was carried out from various locations, including Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Milleryovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk.
Downed drones and damage in the regions
The Air Force confirmed the downing of 82 Shahed drones and other types in 13 regions, including Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. At the same time, 75 decoy drones were lost without any negative consequences. The attack led to damage in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Casualties of the attack
After the attack, a fire occurred in a warehouse in the Boryspil district, damaging a private house, an educational institution, and an apartment in a multi-story building. Unfortunately, a man died during the enemy attack at a railway crossing. The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' reported that the victim died due to a falling drone while he was at work. Train movement in this area is being conducted at reduced speed and according to schedule.
Duration of the war
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for 1095 days.
