Business Ombudsman returned UAH 305 million to entrepreneurs: results of work for the quarter.
The Business Ombudsman's Council is actively working on resolving complaints from entrepreneurs regarding the unscrupulous behavior of state inspectors. In the third quarter of 2023, they closed 180 cases and are in the process of investigating another 99. The most complaints were received about tax audits, which for the first time ranked first among other issues. During this period, the Council managed to return over 300 million hryvnias to businesses, with a total financial effect of its activities amounting to UAH 25 billion.
At the same time, the Verkhovna Rada agreed to lift the moratorium on tax audits. It also made a decision to redirect the military tax on personal income to the purchase of drones and weapons. This may affect the activities of businesses and their financial stability in the future.
