OpenAI plans to release 5 new AI models.
The company OpenAI announced the release of five new artificial intelligence models that will expand the capabilities of technologies and will be integrated into various spheres of life. This week, five new models will be presented: GPT-4.1, 4.1 nano, and 4.1 mini. This was reported, citing information from BleepingComputer.
Icons for the models o3, o4-mini, GPT-4.1, 4.1 nano, and 4.1 mini have been published on the official OpenAI website.
The presentation of the new models is expected to be of great interest to both technology experts and ordinary users who want to use AI to solve real problems.
The models o4-mini and 4.1-mini sound similar, but they have different objectives. Meanwhile, o4 is an understanding model, and 4.1 is expected to be the successor to the multimodal GPT-4 with support for various types of content.
An API for generating images, 4o imagegen, may also be launched soon, but the exact date has not yet been determined.
No information is available about the release of GPT-5.
It is reminded that the company OpenAI filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk, accusing him of systematic harassment and attempts to harm the company. OpenAI claims that Musk used all available means to slow down the company's work and seize control over innovations in the field of artificial intelligence for his own benefit.
