A survey showed how many Americans consider Russia an enemy.

According to a survey by the Pew Research Center, the percentage of Americans who consider Russia an enemy has decreased to its lowest level since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Currently, 50% of surveyed Americans view it as an enemy, which is 11% less than in 2024 and 20% less than in March 2022.

The survey also indicates that 38% of U.S. citizens describe Russia as a competitor, while 9% consider it a partner of the U.S.

Support for military aid to Ukraine among Republican voters has significantly decreased - the percentage of those who see Russia as an enemy has dropped from 58% in 2024 to 40% now. Other assessments are practically returning to the level of January 2022, before the Russian invasion.

Surveyed Americans generally support Ukraine (61%) and do not perceive Russia positively (2%). However, almost half of Americans believe that President Trump defended Russia's interests.
