A survey showed how many Ukrainians in Poland are satisfied with their salaries.

According to the survey results, 85% of Ukrainians working in Poland believe that their salary corresponds to their professional level. Additionally, 70% of them manage to save part of their income each month.
The satisfaction of Ukrainian workers in Poland is explained by rising salaries, making it attractive for Ukrainian migrants. In 2025, further increases in the minimum and average salaries in Poland are expected.
As of the beginning of 2024, the minimum wage in Poland has increased to 4,626 PLN gross, and a further increase to 4,825 PLN gross is planned for July 1.
After taxes, the salary amounts to 3,701 PLN net from January and 3,860 PLN net from July. The average salary in Poland before tax in 2024 is 7,874 PLN, and after tax - 5,681 PLN.
In 2025, further growth in the average salary is expected, reaching 8,673 PLN before tax and 6,938.40 PLN after tax.
Ukraine is also experiencing a positive wage growth trend, but it is significantly lower than in Poland. This difference may pose an obstacle for Ukrainians returning home after the war.
Salary is one of the factors influencing the labor market and the mobility of Ukrainian workers in Poland. According to the survey, 23% of respondents changed jobs twice, 22% - three times, 17% - once, and 9% - four times. At the same Time, 18% of Ukrainians stayed at their first job.
The current study results differ from previous data collected in 2023. Back then, half of the respondents did not change jobs, and 25% changed once.
Please note that to receive assistance abroad, Ukrainians need to confirm their work experience.
