Oschadbank Hikes Fees: New Charges for SMS Alerts and Account Statements Revealed.
Oschadbank Announces 2026 Fee Increases
According to Novyny.live: Starting in 2026, Oschadbank is raising the cost of account transaction notifications for customers using the 'My Card,' 'MORE,' and 'Children's Card' packages. This means clients will now pay more for SMS and Viber alerts about their account activity. The move is part of a broader trend among Ukrainian banks adjusting service fees.
Updated Pricing for Banking Services
The monthly fee for SMS notifications has jumped from 25 UAH to 40 UAH. For those who prefer an annual plan, the cost is now 480 UAH. Viber message charges have also increased, rising from 15 UAH to 25 UAH per month.
Other services have seen price hikes as well. Requesting a statement of cash transactions at a bank branch now costs 150 UAH, up from 100 UAH. Checking your account balance at branches, terminals, or ATMs now carries a fee of 5 UAH, compared to the previous 3 UAH.
These adjustments reflect a shift in Oschadbank's pricing strategy, which could impact how customers manage their finances. The higher fees may strain household budgets, especially for those who rely heavily on mobile banking alerts.
The changes are likely to stir concern among account holders, as increased costs for financial services directly affect their spending. While Oschadbank may be aiming to boost revenue or offset expenses tied to new technology, it is crucial for clients to stay informed so they can adjust their financial habits accordingly.
