How to properly undergo identification to avoid losing payments
The head of the board of the state Oschadbank, Serhiy Naumov, stated that it is important for Ukrainians to follow the identification procedure in order to continue receiving their payments without issues.
Naumov: 'Currently, many questions are being received at the contact center regarding the identification procedure for pensioners among internally displaced persons.'
There are several ways to undergo identification:
- at an Oschadbank branch or territorial offices of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- via video conference with the Pension Fund;
- through a personal electronic account on the Pension Fund's web portal;
- at a foreign diplomatic mission.
Naumov noted that if physical identification is not completed, the blocking of expenditure operations by Oschadbank does not occur, but the information is transmitted to the Pension Fund.
Naumov: 'Furthermore, we provide state authorities with information about accounts where no transactions have occurred using the main pension card within the last six months. The question of the termination or continuation of pension payments to the card accounts of internally displaced persons falls under the jurisdiction of the Pension Fund.'
Oschadbank also advises pensioners who are internally displaced persons:
- to undergo identification in a timely manner;
- at least once every six months to perform transactions using the main payment card to the pension account, including cash and payments in the trading service network.
