According to Novyny.live: Starting in 2026, customers of the state-owned Oschadbank will be able to open deposit accounts entirely online, bypassing the need to visit a branch. This new service will be available through both the bank's website and its 'Mobile Oschad' application, marking a significant step in the bank's digital transformation. The process for opening a deposit in the 'Mobile Oschad' app is straightforward. Customers will need to:

• Select the 'My Opportunities' section;
• Tap the '+' button;
• Choose the 'Open Online Deposit' option.

Deposits can also be opened via the 'Oschad 24/7' website.

Deposit Currency Options

Oschadbank will offer deposits in both the national currency and foreign currencies. In 2026, clients will gain the ability to open or top up deposits in US dollars and euros. Upon the deposit's maturity, funds can be withdrawn as cash or transferred non-cash to a current account.

Additionally, customers can receive financial assistance of up to 5,000 hryvnias until March 15. A bank employee confirmed the development, stating, 'In 2026, clients will be provided with the opportunity to open a deposit in the banking application.'
