Putin's Paranoia: New Offices for Protection

According to The Sun: Vladimir Putin, who feels increasing anxiety over possible assassination attempts on his life, ordered the creation of three identical offices across Russia to remain undetected. According to former high-ranking Kremlin official Gleb Karakulov, who fled Moscow, this decision is driven by Putin's serious fear of being murdered.

Karakulov reported that the president has complex security measures in place due to constant fear of an attack. One such measure is the creation of identical meeting rooms in St. Petersburg, Sochi, and Novo-Ogaryovo near Moscow.

Secrets of the Presidential Offices

All three offices are exact copies of each other and are designed in a minimalist style. He said that the rooms feature a presidential stationery set with an engraved double-headed eagle on a large wooden table, as well as a dozen impeccably sharpened pencils next to a computer screen.

Karakulov noted that each room has no windows, making it difficult to determine the dictator's whereabouts. His team specifically designed these rooms so that no one knows in which of the three locations he is situated.

Disinformation Campaign

There have been instances where official reports claimed the president was in one city, while he was actually in another. Karakulov described how he saw on television that Putin was holding a meeting in Novo-Ogaryovo, whereas he remained in Sochi.

“I know he was in Sochi. The TV is turned on in the background; the news shows him holding a meeting in Novo-Ogaryovo. I asked a colleague in Sochi, 'Has he left?' 'No,' he replied, 'he's still here.'”

According to Karakulov, this disinformation serves to confuse both domestic and foreign intelligence, as well as prevent assassination attempts.

Karakulov also noted that Putin lives in constant fear of being killed and does not trust his subordinates, which is why he even destroyed one of his favorite palaces, fearing it could be targeted by a Ukrainian drone.

Threats to Putin

Putin sometimes appears in public wearing a bulletproof vest, according to security service recommendations. Reportedly, the aging dictator has been wearing armor at public events since 2023.

This fear leads to increased precautionary measures that are becoming more sophisticated, demonstrating how deeply Putin cares about his security.
