Five Eyes: The White House is considering excluding Canada from the intelligence network.

U.S. President Donald Trump may exclude Canada from the Five Eyes intelligence network, which includes the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The proposal came from one of Trump's closest advisers. Increasing tension between the U.S. and Canada has prompted this initiative. Trump recently emphasized that the relationship between the countries is so close that Canada could be considered the '51st state of the U.S.'
The question of excluding Canada from Five Eyes is still unresolved, but it is already being discussed at an official level. Experts warn that this could lead to severe criticism from other U.S. allies and intelligence communities. Excluding Canada threatens the security of all alliance participants, regardless of how much intelligence Canada provides.
