In August, persons with disabilities who have significant merits before the state are entitled to a one-Time pension supplement. They will receive this supplement on Ukraine's Independence Day.
For other persons with disabilities, the minimum pensions will remain unchanged:
- for persons with disabilities of group I – 2,760 hryvnias;
- for non-working persons with disabilities of groups II and III – 2,520 hryvnias;
- for working persons with disabilities of groups II and III – 2,093 hryvnias.
Disability pensions are assigned in case of injury or serious illness of the person. The amount of the pension depends on the disability group, insurance record, and results of medical examinations.
