Starting from December 1, Ukrainians can expect a number of changes. Pension recipients will receive an increase in pension payments for those who turn 70, 75, or 80 years old in December 2024. Pensions may increase by 300-570 hryvnias depending on age. Additionally, pensioners will be able to receive financial support from the World Food Programme of the UN. All Ukrainians will receive a one-Time assistance from the state in the amount of 1000 hryvnias, known as 'Zelensky's thousand'.

“Age supplement to pension”

Individuals who reach 70, 75, or 80 years old in December will receive a pension supplement. Depending on age, the supplement may range from 300 to 570 hryvnias.

“Support from the UN WFP”

Pensioners from combat zones or high-risk areas will receive financial support from the World Food Programme of the UN. The amount of payment will be determined as the difference between the current pension and 3250 hryvnias.

“Thousand from Zelensky”

Ukrainians will be able to receive a one-time payment of 1000 hryvnias under the 'eSupport' program or 'thousand from Zelensky'. The money will be credited to the National Cashback card, which can be obtained through the Diya app or partner banks.

“Compensation for destroyed housing for IDPs”

Internally displaced persons will receive additional compensation for destroyed housing under the 'eRecovery' program. The list of persons with priority rights for compensation will include pensioners, individuals with disabilities of group III, parents of small children, single mothers, and large families.

“One-time assistance for children”

Low-income families and families of internally displaced persons will receive one-time assistance of 6500 hryvnias for each child under 18 years old in December 2024. For individuals with disabilities and children, the assistance will be 3000 hryvnias, for others - 2000 hryvnias.

“State assistance during the heating season”

Ukrainians will have the right to additional compensation for solid fuel expenses during the heating season of 2024-2025. The amount of assistance will be determined individually for each household.

“Utility tariffs”

The moratorium on increasing heating and electricity tariffs for the population will remain until April 2025. The price of gas from the supplier 'Naftogaz' will also remain fixed.

“Exemption from mobilization”

Applications for the exemption of employees will be available through the Diya portal. Students will also be able to receive a deferral from conscription under bill No. 10449, but there are cases when students may be mobilized.
