The Pension Fund has updated the register: what to do with the employment record book until 2026.
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, receiving an insurance pension directly depends on the availability of insurance experience. This experience was recorded in employment record books issued when contracts were concluded until 2004, and after that - through the electronic register.
Implementation of electronic employment record books
In 2021, Law No. 1217 came into force, which introduced electronic employment record books. They contain all information about employees' work achievements. To ensure the accuracy of data, it is necessary to digitize information from paper employment record books, including those issued before 2004.
Deadline for data entry
The Pension Fund has five years to enter the missing data into the register, and the final deadline for this is June 10, 2026. After that, scanned copies of employment record books can be sent via the Pension Fund's web portal.
The process of confirming insurance experience does not lead to the loss of pension rights. Experience before 2004 is taken into account based on employment record books, and experience after that date is automatically confirmed based on employer reporting.
We remind you to be attentive to changes in the pension receipt rules!
This information is important for understanding the mechanism for establishing insurance experience for pensions, especially in the context of transitioning to electronic employment record books and deadlines for registering data at the Pension Fund. Although the entire process should not affect citizens' pension rights, it is important to comply with all requirements and deadlines to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
