The Pension Fund simplified video identification abroad: what has changed
The Pension Fund of Ukraine has made changes to the online registration service for video identification for pensioners. Now, beneficiaries who are temporarily abroad can indicate this when filling out the application on the PFU electronic services web portal.

According to inkorr.com: We remind that to continue receiving payments, pensioners and recipients of insurance payments who temporarily reside outside Ukraine or in temporarily occupied territories are obliged to undergo physical identification annually by December 31. This can be done via video conferencing with the Pension Fund authorities.

On the PFU electronic services web portal, in the tab 'Application for video identification', an option has appeared for those who temporarily reside outside Ukraine. Users can inform about this by marking the appropriate checkbox and register for video identification.

Beneficiaries residing in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine can also use this service. However, they do not indicate the checkbox for residing outside Ukraine when filling out the application.

Instructions for obtaining video identification

To register for video identification through the web portal, several steps need to be followed. First, you need to choose the tab 'Application for video identification' at the top of the screen.

After that, you should familiarize yourself with the information about categories of recipients and click 'Continue' if you belong to one of them. In the application form, you need to fill in all fields marked with an asterisk: personal data, data of the identity document, email address, and phone number.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has simplified the procedure for receiving pensions for those who are abroad. Now pensioners temporarily residing outside the country can easily indicate this when filling out the application on the web portal. This will facilitate the receipt of payments for pensioners who are in foreign countries or in temporarily occupied territories, making the process even more convenient.

The introduction of new options in the online registration service for video identification is an important step for pensioners who are forced to leave Ukraine. This is especially relevant in the conditions of war and danger in temporarily occupied territories. The new feature not only simplifies the identification process but also ensures access to vital financial payments for people who are far from home. Now they will not have to worry about the difficulties that previously arose when receiving pensions.
