Negotiations with Putin: Historian advises Ukraine to define its red lines instead of waiting for them from Moscow.

Professor of Lviv Catholic University, historian Yaroslav Hrytsak, stated that Ukraine should clearly define its red lines based on the Constitution, in an interview with 'Glavkom'.
According to Hrytsak, red lines should not depend on the front line, as they are mandatory to be followed.
The main red lines provided by the Constitution include membership in the European Union and NATO, as well as maintaining independence and temporarily renouncing borders.
Hrytsak believes that during possible negotiations, Putin will propose conditions that will be unacceptable for Ukraine, particularly regarding the Russian language and the Moscow Patriarchate.
U.S. President Joe Biden and Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak also stated that possible negotiations between Ukraine and Russia will only be possible if the war ends and the situation returns to what it was as of February 23, 2022.
Vladimir Putin is ready to discuss a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine, but he refuses any territorial concessions and demands that Ukraine abandon its intention to join NATO.
