Deferral for Study - Two Types of Required Documents.
Deferral for Students
Students who wish to obtain a deferral from mobilization for study must present the certificate from the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (YDEBO) to the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC). The only exception is for those students who are studying in an internship.
About this, lawyer Yuriy Ayvazyan on the 'Lawyers.UA' website.
In Ukraine, a general mobilization process continues, announced in connection with the introduction of martial law throughout the country.
Despite this process, some citizens have the right to deferment from mobilization. This opportunity applies to citizens who are studying at higher and other educational institutions.
YDEBO Certificate and the Only Exception
Among students of higher educational institutions and postgraduate students, it is necessary to have a certificate of education stored in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (YDEBO).
The only exception to this rule concerns those studying in an internship. They must provide to the TRC one of the following documents:
- a certificate from the educational institution about enrollment in the internship;
- a certificate from the medical institution about being appointed as an intern doctor in a certain specialty;
- a certificate from the medical institution about undergoing internship practice as an intern doctor funded by individuals or legal entities.
Previously, we also examined the issue of the Territorial Recruitment Center's ability to deny a deferral due to incomplete study and whether studying at the military department grants a deferral from mobilization.
The submitted news discusses the possibility for students to obtain a deferral from mobilization for study by submitting the YDEBO certificate. Exceptions for students studying in an internship are considered, along with information about the required documents to obtain a deferral.Read also
