How the rating was compiled
Analysts from the iSeeCars platform evaluated over 3.8 million new cars, comparing them based on criteria such as price, quality, and lifespan. As a result, seven hybrid models were identified that best combined these qualities and are advantageous in the long term.
TOP-7 hybrid cars
- Toyota Prius. Expected lifespan – 13 years. This model offers the best price-to-quality ratio (average selling price of $2649 per year).
- Toyota Camry Hybrid. Expected lifespan – 13.2 years (fuel consumption 4.6 liters per 100 km, average selling price $2683 per year).
- Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The first three positions in the ranking are occupied by Toyota models; the lifespan of Highlander Hybrid is 13.9 years (costs $3773 per year).
- Lexus RX 350h. Lifespan – 15.7 years (fuel costs $3856 per year).
- Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Lifespan – 9.1 years (costs $3984 per year).
- Lexus RX 500h. Expected lifespan – 15.7 years, but with a high cost ($4583 per year).
- Ford Escape Hybrid. Lifespan – 8 years (costs $4791 per year).
Hybrid cars are becoming increasingly popular among car owners due to their economy and longevity. The research results reflect the growing trend of such cars and provide owners with information to choose the best model according to their needs and capabilities.
