The police stated that they checked the documents of 50 people, and only 12 of them were detained for clarification of circumstances. The event was referred to by the law enforcement as a "raid on the elite". The police also reported that the check was conducted according to an order from above.

According to law enforcement officers, on October 11, the police were ensuring public order near the Sports Palace.

Law enforcement officers explained that the order to conduct the raid came from above. The police have the authority to participate in raids conducted by the TCC during martial law. Thus, the police are simply fulfilling their functions. The officers called this raid a "raid on the elite" since people were singing "I will not surrender without a fight," while others are in the trenches.

According to the material, documents were checked for 50 people, and only 12 of them were detained for clarification of circumstances.

The officers noted that among those detained, there were none wanted for criminal offenses.

The police claimed that the initiative for the raid likely came from the military rather than the police leadership, as they are involved in mobilization.

Remember, TCC employees commented on the raid after the 'Okean Elzy' concert.

On the evening of October 11, a concert by the band 'Okean Elzy' took place at the Sports Palace. After the performance, there was a check of military registration documents for those liable for military service. Several people who had issues with documents or refused to show them, were detained and taken to the TCC. Some were issued summons and released.

The member of parliament Mykyta Poturaiev believes that the document verification after the concert does not threaten Ukrainian culture.
