PFU warned about pension fraud scheme with 'pension indexation'.
The Pension Fund warns about a fraudulent scheme with 'pension indexation' on Telegram. Scammers have created fake channels where they spread false information about supposedly urgent pension indexation and require filling out a special form.
The Pension Fund emphasizes that such information is manipulative and aimed at collecting personal data through phishing links. The Fund highlights that pension indexation occurs automatically according to part two of article 42 of the Law of Ukraine on 'Mandatory State Pension Insurance' and does not require any additional actions from pensioners.
The decision on pension indexation in 2025 will be made by a separate resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Pension Fund will communicate this through official verified communication channels.
Reliable information about pensions, subsidies, and benefits can be obtained on the official website www.pfu.gov.ua, in the Telegram channel, and on the Fund's social media pages Facebook, X (Twitter), WhatsApp, and YouTube.
It should be reminded that the increase in pensions will take place from March 1, 2025, using a coefficient of 1.10, and the total revenue of the Pension Fund for 2025 is planned to be 904.8 billion hryvnias.
It is also worth adding that the age supplement system provides for additional payments: pensioners aged 70-74 receive 300 hryvnias monthly, 75-79 years - 456 hryvnias, and those over 80 years - 570 hryvnias.
Additionally, new restrictions are imposed on special pensions during martial law that exceed 23,610 hryvnias, using decreasing coefficients from 0.5 to 0.1, except for combatants and families of deceased servicemen.
Moreover, as of January 2025, the Pension Fund has already allocated 19.5 billion hryvnias for pension payments, of which 3.6 billion hryvnias will be paid through Ukrposhta, and 15.9 billion hryvnias through banks.
