The Pension Fund has introduced a new system for verifying pensioners: Who will be affected by automation.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine uses a system for automated verification of information regarding the deaths of pensioners using the State Register of Civil Acts of Citizens. This verification is carried out for all types of pension payments and is conducted twice a year.
According to information from the Pension Fund, the payment process is controlled by legal regulations. For example, payments for pensioners temporarily staying abroad are made only to bank accounts in Ukraine.
“In this case, the obligation for physical identification by the end of the calendar year is a requirement,” the official statement says.
For internally displaced persons who received their status before February 24, 2022, and receive their pension through Oschadbank, there is an obligation to carry out physical identification every six months according to Cabinet Regulation No. 637.
