Ukraine has submitted a memorandum on ceasefire: what the document entails
The Ukrainian memorandum on the ceasefire contains provisions for a cessation of hostilities on land, at sea, and in the air, and also stipulates that monitoring will be carried out by international partners. Ukraine has already submitted its document to Russia and the USA, while Moscow stated that it would present its memorandum only at the next round of negotiations in Istanbul on June 2. Trump's special representative for Ukraine, Kurt Volker, noted that the Ukrainian memorandum contains 22 points, most of which he considers 'reasonable'. He also urged Kyiv to participate in negotiations even if the Russian document is not provided in advance, otherwise it may be interpreted as a refusal of peace.
The aggressor country, Russia, excludes the participation of any intermediaries in direct negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul on June 2. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. Commenting on information about the possible arrival of representatives from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, and France in Istanbul, the Foreign Ministry representative noted that the Russian Federation does not see 'a connection between the movements of representatives of the mentioned four states and the bilateral Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul.'
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Andriy Osipov as the head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Film Affairs. He is a Ukrainian producer, writer, public figure, and head of the Odesa film studio.

As a result of a Russian drone attack on the night of May 30, a branch of Nova Poshta in the Odesa region was destroyed. Rescuers, together with National Guard employees, extinguished the fire over an area of 300 square meters. There are no casualties or injured.
The presented news discusses some events concerning Ukraine's international relations with Russia, as well as updates in the leadership of the Ukrainian film industry. Ukraine is already ready for a ceasefire provided that hostilities stop, while there has yet been no response from Russia. Russian attacks on the long-distance railway yard and the postal operator's branch indicate the ambiguity of Russian politics in the region.
