NORTH Korea deployed about 1500 special operations forces fighters to Vladivostok

According to South Korean intelligence, NORTH Korea transferred about 1500 special operations forces fighters to Russian Vladivostok. These North Korean forces are considered one of the most secretive units of this kind and represent an enigma for Western countries.

It is worth noting that although these fighters are well-trained, they are limited by the lack of advanced military equipment.

According to the publication, NORTH Korea has about 200,000 military personnel in the special operations forces. The main objective of using these forces lies in testing and challenging South Korean defense.

The North Korean special operations forces detachment includes 12 light infantry brigades, three reconnaissance units for operations behind enemy lines, three airborne divisions, and three general sniper units.

While it has become known that the US is concerned about reports of the possible participation of thousands of North Korean military personnel on the side of Russia, there is currently no independent confirmation of these data.

It is also worth noting that South Korea considers the deployment of North Korean troops in the war in Ukraine a serious threat to international security.
