President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on August 21, 2024, which marked the 910th day of the war.

He discussed the situation on the front lines, particularly on the Pokrovsky direction in Donetsk region, emphasizing the need to strengthen positions and provide ammunition.

The President also mentioned the operation in the Kursk region, where the troops control certain areas and exchange prisoners.

After that, Zelensky held a meeting with government officials and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada, discussing the support for the Defense Forces and stimulating economic activity in the country.

An agreement was reached on seeking alternative solutions without pressuring the 'white' businesses and on de-shadowing the economy.

The work with foreign partners regarding the use of 50 billion dollars from frozen Russian assets was separately discussed.

The President emphasized the urgency of creating a mechanism for utilizing these funds to assist Ukraine in the coming months.

Vladimir Zelensky also discussed Ukraine's spiritual independence with Patriarch Bartholomew.
