The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, in Italy. Zelensky expressed gratitude for support in military security and investment in Ukrainian drone production. The integration of Ukraine into Europe was also discussed.
'I thanked Germany for its military support, especially for the air defense systems that protect Ukrainians from shelling every day,'
The meeting was aimed at supporting Ukrainian security and cooperation with the EU. The leaders of the countries agreed on further cooperation and support for peace and security in the region.
