Other measures

The total number of subscribers of these accounts exceeds 365 thousand. Another 20 profiles with an audience of over 625 thousand are awaiting verification. The head of the state agency, Hennadiy Novikov, clarified that complaints are processed within a few days. Until September, such cases were rare, and the consideration of applications took considerable time.

There is also ongoing cooperation with Meta, within the framework of which 54 accounts on Instagram have already been blocked for illegally promoting gambling.

Register of persons with limited participation in gambling

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has launched a draft order that establishes financial and time limits for players in gambling.

Earlier,

"Glavkom"
reported that the State Agency PlayCity announced a tender for the development of a Register of persons with limited participation in gambling. This initiative aims to allow applications for self-restriction and restrictions on family members' participation in games through an electronic cabinet.

Changes to licensing conditions

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes to the licensing conditions for gambling organizers. This will allow PlayCity to begin issuing new licenses, ensuring an influx of approximately 50 million hryvnias into the state budget.

Thus, the State Agency PlayCity continues its active fight against illegal advertising of gambling on social networks, blocking offenders and implementing projects aimed at protecting players and controlling gaming activities. Changes in licensing conditions could help increase state revenues and improve regulation in this area.
