Polestar 3 sets Guinness World Record: 935 km on a single charge.
The electric Polestar 3 has set a world record for distance among production electric SUVs, covering 935.44 km on a single charge. This achievement surpassed the previous record of 916.9 km set by the Ford Mustang Mach-E in 2024.
The Polestar 3 SUV in the Long Range version with a single motor producing 295 hp and a 107 kWh battery became a record-holder. During the tests, it traveled further than its official range, covering up to 935.44 km on one charge.
The journey lasted almost 23 hours, with an average energy consumption of 12.1 kWh per 100 km. The Polestar 3 had no technical modifications during the tests.
The tests were conducted on real roads in eastern England, including narrow streets, varying speeds, and highways. This new achievement confirms the capabilities of electric vehicles and demonstrates the potential for further development of autonomous transport.
