Died from wounds received at the front. Remember the soldier Anatoliy Chuhayev.

Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Anatoliy Chuhayev. 

On September 14, 2024, in a hospital in the city of Lviv, from injuries received during combat, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine passed away, the defender of Ukraine Anatoliy Chuhayev. This loss was reported by the mayor of Horishni Plavni, Poltava region, Dmytro Bykov. 

Anatoliy Chuhayev was born on September 21, 1975, in the city of Miass, Chelyabinsk region.

In 1982, the family moved to Komsomolsk (now the city of Horishni Plavni – «Glavcom»). After finishing 9 classes of general secondary school No. 1, Anatoliy Chuhayev studied at Komsomolsk Vocational School No. 15, where he obtained the profession of an electric-gas welder.

From 1993 to 1995, he performed compulsory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He then worked at the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant, at the enterprises «Poltava-BELAZ-service», «Ferrostroy».

In 2014, he graduated from Kremenchuk University of Economics, Information Technologies and Management, where he obtained the qualification of an automotive engineer.

On July 25, 2023, Anatoliy Chuhayev was mobilized in the Russo-Ukrainian war. In May 2024, the defender of Ukraine was awarded the cross «Idu na vi».

On September 14, 2024, from injuries received during combat, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoliy Chuhayev, passed away in a hospital in the city of Lviv.

The soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoliy Mykolayovych Chuhayev, was buried with honors in Horishni Plavni on the territory of the military memorial «Their names will live forever».
