The appearance of gray rot on tomatoes is one of the most significant problems for these vegetables, which is not so easy to get rid of. However, an experienced gardener shared which products can easily cure the affected tomatoes to save their harvest.
If you notice that gray or gray-brown spots, which increase in size, or gray fluffy coating have appeared on the tomatoes, this indicates damage from gray rot. Other signs of this disease include soft and rotten fruits, as well as brown and oozing spots on the leaves and stems of the plants. Gray rot can develop with high humidity and insufficient ventilation, as well as through mechanical damage.
To combat gray rot on tomatoes, one can use products such as 'Switch' and 'Revus Top'. To do this, they need to be mixed with water in specific proportions. After treating with the 'Switch' product, it is recommended to use 'Revus Top' to further eliminate the problem. In this way, one can protect the tomato harvest from diseases.
