The State Bureau of Investigation has canceled over 800 decisions of the Medical and Social Expert Commission, where disabilities were granted to officials. Currently, an inspection is being conducted in more than 70 state institutions.Oleksiy Sukachov, the head of the DBR, stated that this pertains to employees from over 70 state institutions. More than 2000 cases have already been reviewed, and 800 decisions on disability have been annulled as groundless, 400 have been amended, and over 100 officials have been summoned for additional examinations.'Usually, fictitious disability was used to receive pensions and evade conscription into the army. The highest number of canceled disabilities has been found among customs, tax, prosecutor office employees, and other law enforcement agencies,' Sukachov explained.The DBR also stated that any illegal actions among law enforcement officers and state officials will be thoroughly investigated and punished.Since the beginning of July, the Ministry of Health has started to review the decisions of the Medical and Social Expert Commission regarding disabilities for public servants, and as of July 31, 795 such decisions have been canceled.
